"Money is a touchy subject at present, particularly for those running the European Tour. With the Race to Dubai entering the final stretch, players are
looking towards the mega-bucks on offer at the Dubai World Championship, in November, and wondering if the amount they had been promised at the start of the
year is going to be there after all.

"The deal - originally with Leisurecorp, but now with Nakheel, its parent company - was to provide a stash of $20 million in each...

Yes, the media gives Tiger Woods much, much more airtime than any other player, period. And they would be stupid NOT to do this. Tiger's got at least 3
times more PGA wins, and 3 times more majors, than anybody else on tour. He's got probably ten times more records; and he's younger than any of the
contenders. He's on the verge of breaking the greatest records in golf (majors and pga tournaments won). And let's not even talk about what he has done
I know some say they don't.....they just enjoy watching good golf played, and they have no horse they're backing.

But I thought it might be interesting if a lot of us regulars would name our current favorite golfers on tour.

And if you like, you can also name your all-time favorites too.

Let me rephrase that. He *would* win POY, because voters, whether for POY or Oscars or President, seem to have trouble remembering anything over a month or two

It has no identity.
It's been compared to the NASCAR points chase. The problem is, the winner of the NASCAR points chase is the NASCAR champion.

Also, just go with the earnings. The points don't make any sense to me. Everyone who makes the playoff should have equal chance to win the Fed Ex. If not,
then don't call it playoffs.

Here is how it should work:
